In early 1946, Don Franco, and two other teachers, decided that local children should have a program where independence and growth could be fostered in a fun outdoor setting. The founders started with 20 children, a few staff and swimming instruction. Today, Camp Robin Hood is the oldest and largest private Day Camp with added buildings, state-of-the-art activities, additional pools and a full Robin Hood Sports Academy. With a commitment to inclusivity and integration Camp Robin Hood is also one of the first programs of it’s kind to fully integrate children with special needs. Directors Sari and Howie Grossinger now lead the summer camp, investing their love and know-how straight to Camp Robin Hood’s core.
Sovereign State was honoured to work with the Camp Robin Hood team on the brand evolution of this well-loved camp. We put our efforts in creating a system that expressed all the energy and elements of the camp experience. These elements allowed for varied use and application throughout all the activities and functions of the brand while maintaining a visually ownable environment.
